Ever been to a nudist resort? beach? (reading, California, San Diego)

I kind of believe that too. I think a lot join just to watch other people be naked and judge them too (on how they look). So, not really my cup of tea, no. Sorry.

Those are easy to spot that they do not fit in. They refuse to engage fully nude in social type setting. True naturalist is more open minded and enjoys the freedom of knowing people for their heart and mind without a preconcived notion that clothing puts on society.

Dozens of times, mostly in Germany, but twice in California as well. As was mentioned, its common in Germany to the point of normalcy. Have swam, sunbathed and done the sauna in the buff. Cannot deny I did not enjoy the other "sights" but remained painfully discrete and restrained. Generally its just for relaxation.

I suppose that makes me the occassional naturists. Nudists, as I understand it, are a bit different and enjoy all kinds of activities in the buff. Not my deal and I find that a bit strange, but ultimately harmless.

Agree America is much more prudish but there actually are lots and lots of nude beaches out there and I assume resorts as well.

Have been to Pirates Cove at Avila beach California at least 100 times. never did i see any inappropriate behavior. Just people enjoying the outdoors in a more natural state. The only gawkers i ever noticed were mexican men.

As soon as I stepped out onto the beach I was privy to quite a scene of horror, I can't go into details because of the graphic quality... but let's just say that 4 old men were playing volleyball and they... weren't in the best of shape.

I can see swimming in a stream or pond or the ocean nude (if I were alone or with my wife), but for everything else it just makes sense to have clothes on to me.

On our honeymoon in mexico, there were topless ladies on the beach but it didn't really phase me. I mean you DO look and judge a little, as it is only human nature but I was neither turned on or embarrassed by it. I've never been one to gawk at ladies, I know what breasts look like so I don't act like it's the 2nd coming when I see some. But personally I would not feel comfortable in public without some sort of clothing on. Hell I would feel awkward in my underwear on the beach.

Especially any activities requiring me to jump, run, or hit anything....I wouldn't want to have any accidents, not to mention it can't be too pretty, lol.
