I always envy other peoples creativity.

To take such a simple idea and make something so neat out of it.

Show your creativity side.

What have you done as far as Do It Yourself?

Lots of things!
Home renovations, sewing projects, needlework, crocheting, painting, gardening.... too many to mention them all.

How about you?

I have followed in my grandfathers footsteps. He was a self professed "Jack of all trades but master of none"
Years ago I built a replica Cobra car from a Factory Five kit. I have a working knowledge of mechanics, electical, plumbing, construction. Over the years I have saved us thousands of dollars with my handyman skills that my grandfather taught me the basics of. Thanks Papa.
What I'm really proud of is my model RR. I built the buildings and bridges and lots of the rolling stock, some of which is also custom painted. I made little people out of clay, engineered the backyard for the track and have contributed articles to Garden Railways magazine. It is a really neat hobby that has many facets to hold my interest. I also like to make videos of the trains.
Here is my most recent with a custom built racer.

Here is another fun one. The MAC speeder in the beginning is scratch built. The buildings are all hand made.

Thanks for asking Pitt chick

Not much for me.
I always dream about ideas, but never do them.
Work to much to be able to let the creative energy flow.

WOW. Cape Cod Todd.
That is amazing. What a talent you have!

And your sense of humor and story telling in your videos are pretty great also!

"The town folk are pretty excited"
"Dual exhaust"
"Poop pup patrol"

Thanks for sharing that!

I hope you have kids who get to see such a site and talent.

Awww... you should remedy that.
Seriously.

DIY is a great stress reliever and a source of personal satisfaction. IMHO!

People with dreams are in a far better place than people without them.

Not being a creative DIYer, the item on the right is the best "thing" I ever made:

EDIT: not truly a DIY project, since I did have some help!
