Went to go pick up BBQ from a joint down the road. Walking across the small parking lot to the front door I broke into a sweat. I freaking hate summer.

FINALLY set up a burn pile and got rid of some of the twig piles I'm accumulating as I clear the disaster resulting from giving my guy a chain saw.

I have a long way to go.

(outside) Played with the dogs in the yard. Eradicated the Bermuda grass that invaded past the landscape stones and rooted into the mulch in our flower beds.

Then went to the grocery store to get the "marked down" meat specials. A Saturday ritual for me.

(inside) Came home, froze most of the meat and then put a rack of ribs into the slow cooker for dinner later on. Yum!!!

Picked up dog doo and watered my outdoor plants. It's disgustingly hot and humid here and though there was more I would have liked to do yard-wise, that was enough for me.
