There is one where I live in Las Vegas. Me and my dad would take his pick up truck and we would sit in the back seat and watch the movie from there. This year didn't have any great summer movies but hopefully by next year we would be having better movies than before.

I second the one in Wellfleet MA. here on the Cape. I think it made the list of the top 10 in America. It shows 2 first run movies for $9 per person, you can't beat that. It is only open in the Summer of course and during the week they have a flea market there.

I remember 3 other drive ins which were South of Boston when I was a kid but those are well closed now. The real estate is worth too much.

A great resource for drive-in movie fans. (While not complete.. I know of several closed not on the list) but helpful none the less...

Haven't hit the Drive-in much lately but most still in existence have converted to Digital projectors. Movies are no longer being distributed in Film format, so those that haven't can't show new releases.

Last summer the local drive-in had a concert simulcast with Jimmy Buffet. They also opened up for a Sunday Night football game between the Vikings and Packers. Digital is a good thing.
