cleaning handgun (shoot, cheap, revolver)

Anyone have some advice on a "quick clean" (not breaking the gun down) for a polymer 9mm? I guess a bore snake is a no-brainer. But any certain spray recommended? Has anyone used Tetra Gun Spray?

I love to shoot 'em but hate to clean them. Similar to boresnake in concept, but more effective, versatile and less expensive is patchworm. You should be able to google it. I don't sell them but I do own some and have given them as gifts.

I have not used the tetra gun spray but I have used the lube and like it.

The Tetra line of gun cleaning products is excellent. I use their cleaner, lube and synthetic grease.

Heck, its easy enough to break down most auto's I dont sweat cleaning them at all.
I generally seperate the slide & barrel from the action & just go at it. usually 10 minutes tops.
Revolvers take time but the auto's are a breeze.

O.K.,O.K., I'll tell you how I do a quick clean. I only do this if I absolutely can get to clean it right and it has to sit for a few days or weeks-at the most.
Get a can of Gumout carb cleaner, go outside where there is dirt. Take out the clip,pull back slide and set to open if it will. Spray the heck out of it and hold it at all angles as you do this. I can make the job do with about 1/4 of the can. When your satisfied let the gun sit a few minutes. Then spray with Remington gunoil to lubricate it. Takes less than 10 minutes. I have did this for years.

I was going to suggest that but I'm not sure what it does to polymer.
I use it alot after breakint the gun down, I flood the subasemblies, relube & am back in buisness.

It must not be a Glock as this is probably the simplest automatic to take down ever built.

Just break the thing down and take the 10 minutes to clean it.

I just bought a 9mm bersa, to clean it I went to youtube and searched for bersa 9mm cleaning. 12 videos came up, take down was a cinch and cleaning and reasembly with no problems.
