I've been flintknapping for about 35 + years (a serious addiction I believe). I have also been shooting longbows and building selfbows as well, only building bows to a much lesser degree than knapping.

I did it for over 10 years. I can't wait until we get our house built outside of town and I can get into the storage shed-15x20-with most of our household stuff in it. Includeing my knapping stuff. I also have made a couple of self bows and really liked them. I got game with them too. I never really liked the Atlatl, too much movement when hunting. But at night I guess it worked well enough.
