Has a Nirvana and a Kyosho Fortune 612 Sailboats. Nothing like mastering the wind! I need a new radio though. I accidentally dropped the Nirvana last summer and poked a hole in it and hasn't gotten around to fixing it. It's spring here now and I have no idea where I put the either of the TX's last fall.

I took a brief foray into RC cars when I was younger. I got turned off because the 28 year old loser behind the counter at the racetrack was such an A-hole. I remember wishing I was bigger so I could punch him in the mouth.

In the case of a trainer like my Falcon, cheap is good cause you can expect to buy allot of replacement parts during the learning process. Which heli do you have?

actully dave i was thinking of using my machinist skills and making the part out of aluminum so it would be more durable and lite at the same time. that motor mount is pretty flimsy to begin with. i have checked out a bunch of heli's in that price range and their all made out of the same cheap plastic. but when i was flying it is so much fun that i can't wait to get it fixed .

Not a bad idea, but just remember when you strengthen up the weakest link, it'll just become a different part that will break because it becomes the weak point.

This Cobra sit on top kayak is my "toy" so to speak but it is no model. The motor functions are RC so I could actually sit in a beach chair on the shore and let my boat do my fishing for me. (Not legal to do that in my state though)
