Land Of Marbles: Clays (undyed)

No I think the marble is made of cork... or clay or something like that. That's the one we absolutely DO NOT play with lol We do play with the corkscrew marbles though We get chalk and draw our circle and shoot on the pavement. Makes for fun when you have to collect them as they have shot all over the road lol I may dig a patch of grass up for a nice playing field...

I do. bad thing is the old ones have gotten mixed in with the new.

I can tell the difference for the most part...

Sometimes when a friend is having an exceptionally bad week or few days, I will pack new marbles in a small jar and put a little note in the jar saying, "Just in case you've lost all of yours... "

Cork! I haven't heard of that one yet, but clay yes, the really old ones were clay -- called commies -- because they were so common. Billions were made. In fact they were the first mass produced toy in America.

Maybe I can buy a lot of land out here and just keep it dirt and rent it out to local families by the hour so they can enjoy the novelty of playing in real dirt.

OK, I have a beautiful new marble so I thought I would share. It's clay and probably not the fanciest but I love it. My son took it to school today so hopefully it will make it home
