Default Coloring handgun grips/frame?

My girl is interested in getting her own handgun and her CCW. She likes things that "look" good, though, so a plain old boring black gun won't cut it. Her favorite color is blue, so we need to find something that either comes with a blue frame (Walther has a .22), or find something suitable and then have the grip/frame coated or colored in some way. I'm sure that Walther is a fine weapon, but I'm not comfortable with her relying on a .22 for defense.

Since there aren't a lot of options for guns that come with a blue frame, I'm guessing that we'll need to go with the alternative. I have no idea what options exist for that task, though. Anyone have any suggestions? Obviously, it can't flake or peel, or anything of that nature.

One possible option for the gun is the Kel-Tec .32 or .380 (pic below). I already own the .32, and she likes firing it - it's small enough for her hands and doesn't have a lot of recoil. I figure we'd probably get the .380 for her if she's going to be carrying it, though.

There ya go.

I just did a google search for "pink gun". I bet you can do that with whatever color will catch her fancy. She can test out the boring black ones, and probably special order a gun that she likes the look of.

Besides Duracoat, you can use a powder coat or a colored anodize process to give it the blue color you want. Here are some examples of the color - blue anodized - Google Product Search
