Funny-we actually got two of the DC quarters yesterday here in New Hampshire. We were in the very southern part of the state about an hour and a half from home and that is where we found them.
I find that a lot-when we are away from home is when we find most of the new quarters.

My husband got the DC one when he was snowboarding the other week in Pa. The women had 3 rolls of them that she had just opened!

I'm still looking for Hawaii and DC! I think it's very cool that Duke Ellington is on the latter.

I can send the next Hawaii one I get if you can reciprocate on Delaware, Illinois or Kansas.

Not any more. To many being minted and too many people collecting them too.

My son does has the D series, but still needs Connecticut, Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Iowa, North Dakota, Utah, Hawaii, and Arizona for the P series. Also he has no DC quarter, we didn't even know their was one for DC.

When they are finished, are they going back to the original Eagle design? What's this I hear about starting County Pennies, over 3,000 of them.

Well, I got a DC quarter, but I'm still lookinng for the Hawaii one. I'm sure it will turn up. I went to the US Mint site, and they already have a set of 2009 quarters listed which includes, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and one other island which I can't recall.
I have no illusions that a set of 50 state quarters, especially circulated, will be worth anything over face value in my lifetime, but they are fun to collect.
