So is anyone out there following the AHL this season? I am, Go Checkers!

Thought this could be a thread where we can talk about future prospects and whatnot.

Even with Michal Neuvirth playing for the Caps, will the Hershey Bears make it a 3-peat this year? or does someone else take the crown?

I follow the Wolfpack since they are the baby Rangers, but I also like classic old teams like the Bears and it would be really cool with a threepeat.
I also just noted that swedish rookie Linus Klasen has scored four goals in four games and is tied for second place in the goal league.
I hope he can keep it up.

I just don't get the Checkers. On paper we should have a good team. Maybe it's the move or just a early slump, but we shouldn't be this bad.

Hey and AHL Thread?! Great! about time. I am an AD's fan aka the Milwaukee Admirals. I am also a die hard Blackhawks fan and due to me getting my butt kicked in NHL 10 for Xbox I can't stand the Nashville Pred's. I know it's just a video game but I always lose to them and now I can't stand that team. Which is odd because if I root for the Ad's I am rooting for the pred's in a weird way. I hope the admirals do good but I hope the players suck once they reach Nashville.

Anyways, glad we got this thread!

Well since I made the above post on Oct. 29th, the Checkers have begun to rack up some points. Though most of them have been shoot-out losses, I'll take the points.

Five goals by OKC's Linus Omark last night!
Plus he scored on a penalty shot too.

Saw the Aeros blow a 2-0 lead on Friday but they came back to win the shootout.
