hi there
We may be soon posting to Whidbey Island and our son plays Novice level hockey. We have looked around a bit and haven't seen much in that area...we have resigned ourselves to possibly commuting to other towns to allow our boy to continue playing hockey. Is there anyone who has any info on his topic....any insight would be great

Whidbey Island is not the best spot for hockey for sure.....there may be a roller hockey rink on the AFB, other than that, you're going to have to take a ferry, down to Everett, which doesn't run in the over night hours, or drive (depending on where on the island) at least 50 minutes over to Bellingham and play there.

Well, it would probably be better to head south down Whidbey to Clinton and catch the ferry to Mukilteo. The from the ferry dock are two Ice rinks.
Both of them run by Seattle Junior Hockey Seattle Junior Hockey Association ::: HOME

There are about 10 minutes at the most from that ferry.
If you have any questions, send me a PM with a way to contact you and I will call you from Skype.
