As much as I would love that, I doubt it. I expect every remaining game in the series to go down to the wire.

Game 2 Bolts and Bruins. Wow, what a game. I give a lot of credit to both teams. Probably the most exciting game of the playoffs so far.

Bruins really came out swinging and are now playing like they belong here.

The Lightning really looked lost after their first goal (Which came 13 seconds into the game) but still managed to keep it close. They have no quit in them. They really need to work on their passing though.

Great game. Tampa just has no quit in them whatsoever, both teams played hard.

I just watched the game, and I got mixed feelings about my Bruins. I loved how they attacked the 1st two periods, they were on a mission.

That's how they looked during the Flyer series.

But 6-3 start of the 3rd I knew my Bruins would stop skating, they do it everytime. and it's frustrating, what were the scoring chances in the 3rd period? probably 15 for TB and one or two for Boston. This is what did them in last yr vs Philly.

Happy about the win.

1-1 on to TB

No - unless you were expecting the canucks to lose on home ice after posting the best record in the league................

it was a pretty sad and embarassing performance though - the sharks pretty much quit in the 3rd

Niemi has been no better in this playoffs than nabby was in any of his playoffs and he needs to play much better on the whole

Defensive coverage and give aways are still an issue

Nic Wallin is almost guaranteed to be on the ice for 2 goals against a night

I'm not sure what is worse - how eager gets abused on the ice often giving up goals - or taking stupid penalties and playing so undisciplined you pretty much change the tone and bury your team from the box ..... either way I hope the only thing from his stat line next game is DNP

Completely idiotic - they need a full 60 minute effort at the tanks

The canucks are beatable - they just have to play smarter and for the love of god if demers can even skate on a leg he has to be better than wallin and at this point i'd much rather see a guy like braun over huskins

Sharks have to find a way to break the common refrain of little scoring in the third. Pretty much was punchless in the second and third period and Canucks jumped on them.

I know Eager was frustrated and tried to fire up the team but it was pretty bush move of him to yell at Luongo after the goal in the third. Leave that stuff for the NBA Ben

Vancouver is up decisively 2-0.
this is where I might become arrogant and insult the loudmouth San Jose fans who prowl these threads.
HOWEVER, I will not be overconfident, and say that winning the first 2 at home is what is expected and not extrordinary enough to start bragging.
However, SJ's coach just said that you are not in trouble until you lose 1 at home, . . .so here's to hoping that they do!
You have to admit, that it is a thing of beauty when the Sedins are playing their "A" game. It looks like a power play/shooting gallery.
Vancouver is looking very good now!!

Sharks will need to work of getting organized and avoid penalties. We are underdogs anyway.

Good game tonight by B's to take the series lead, excellent backchecking to shut down the Tampa offense.
