Was Boston sloppy in game 1, absolutely. However, while Thomas gave up a terrible goal with the second goal and a bad giveaway led to the third, he kept it from being a blowout with several spectacular saves.

Plus the fact that the B's are 2 for 41 on the PP for the 12 games they have played in so far. That will not get them into the SCF.

So yeah, they're in trouble.
Okay...one more time...who is trouble?

Boston is still a little sloppy, still not scoring goals in the PP...yet they are up 2-1. Meanwhile, Tampa looks a little frazzled...and Tim Thomas has basically stonewalled everything (literally) they throw up against him.

This is going to be a battle--no one is in trouble, this will most likely go to 7. Two great teams, two fantastic cities--in the end each will challenge Vancouver.

Had to give you the rep back

I thought that game 2 was the worst the Bolts played since the Pittsburgh series, they didn't skate well.

Julien made great adjustments to keep the shutout in tact last night even with the Bolts 32 SOG. Thomas was fantastic in net, great job in making sure he wasn't screened. Now the focus goes back to see how Boucher adjusts to get the series even, which I hope goes 7 as well.

Game 3 of Sharks/Canucks tonight. Can the Sharks get more than one goal in the third?

Canucks vs Sharks....I'd say that after game two things are going to be really interesting tonight. The Sharks need to keep their composure and their mind on the game.

Solid win - great effort, good goaltending, good 4th line play, good penalty kill for the most part and appropriate edge

Need to come out for 60 minutes on sunday and get this tied up to vancouver - but for now they have a taste of victory in the WCF and don't have to worry about replicating last year

Sharks had 6 penalties compare to 11 for Van so PP made a difference. Sharks coach said PP will decide the outsome of this series.
