Just as the Memphis Grizz shocked the world by dumping top seed San Antonio Spurs...Vancouver better have their jocks strapped on really good going to Nashville tied 1-1 because that is where the Grizz/Spurs stood at the same point in that series and the crowds at Bridgestone Arena will be insane just like the crowds in Memphis were.

that was exciting, I turned it on halfway through the 3rd, 1-0 Cunucks, the Grizz is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Luongo, nothings going, finally they get one past him and onto overtime.

a lot of up and down hockey in the 1st overtime and some amazing saves including one that the Grizz goalie made that was every bit as good as T Thomas had on that Montreal 2-1.

Great game I'll be looking to tune in to game 3.

Yes that was a SHOCK that they won that one. Lets hope such a fluke like that does not happen again, and that the dominating deserving team wins.
Just watching game 3 NOW. Nashville only got 1 shot in the entire 2nd period. If they wind up winning then it will be another shocking unjust fluke.
but
Like Jesse the Body Ventura says,
"It is better to be lucky than to be good"

Bad call on the penalty to Weber which decided game 3. Not only was Kesler holding his stick, but that kind of call shouldn't be made in OT.

Right now I don't care who wins this series, it all depends upon whether or not my Sharks advance to play the winner. However, the end of that game left a real bad taste..

and Calgary would up losing the Stanley Cup to Tampa because Calgary scored and nobody saw it.
so
if it is so close that it just comes down to one goal on an arbitrary call, then you did not deserve to win anyhow.
So I dont want to hear any crying.
Anyway, the refs ALWAYS seem to be biased against the Canadian teams. (Probably part of a larger overall conspiracy to make more money by pitching hockey to the larger population, bigger money American market)
IMPEACH/IMPALE BETTMAN ! ! ! !

Probably a result of the missed call when Weber hit Bieksa from behind...He could have got five minutes for that one.

Thought Bieska was falling down on the play before that when Weber hit him, so that could have been borderline as well, but, the call against Weber, was one of the worst I've seen in NHL playoff hockey. For the ref to do that against the home teams captain? I thought the penalty was against Kesler for holding when it was 1st called....wow.

Agree...I was shocked at the call. Well the NHL will give the Swedes an opportunity to fold in the clutch again.
