hey it been 18 years since a canadian franchise won and the canucks have never won the cup. I would say tim thomas has been the main reason boston got so far and the series and I hope you guys lock down your free agents ASAP

There is nothing like a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals, and this one (if the pattern continues) has high chances of going into sudden death overtime.

My prediction:

Luongo will step up at home as usual, but it won't be enough to beat Boston. Zdeno Chara will hoist the cup and then hand it to no one other than Tim Thomas, who has been an absolute STUD this series. They would not be playing a Game 7 if he was not doing the netminding for Boston.

Boston will win 3-2 in the second overtime period on a goal by Lucic, sending his hometown Canucks to a bitter defeat.

There it is!

while I disagree about the outcome and am pulling for the canucks. one thing for sure it was a interesting final and it beats having a sun belt expansion team winning and it has been 38 years for boston since their last cup win and 40 for vancouver (we have never won the cup but I hope we change that tonight) so both teams and the fans know how hard and long it is to get to the stanley cup finals.

anyways as a canucks fan I was glad we got boston over TB. since it means more to play a team with such a rich history and may the best team win tonight but still Go! Canucks Go!

Honestly I have no idea, I feel either goalie could have an off night or a team could have an off night or....I can't even figure out who I want to win. Vancouver has had a great year and is certainly deserving. Bruins very tenacious to get here and is a US team.......

That's the key - A U.S. team! As far as distance goes, the Canucks are the closest team to where we live, slightly shorter distance than San Jose. But Boston is a U.S. team, and I feel they have put a LOT more effort into this series than Vancouver has. Outside of the first 6 minutes of the third period of Game 6, the Canucks looked lost on both sides of the puck.

Since our Kings got dismantled in the first round, the wife and I gotta root for an American team!

This series change my mind so I'll say Boston wins game 7.

Congratulations in advance, Boston, on what I hope is the last championship your city celebrates in multiple decades.

Got a penalty on Boston, and the Canucks need to cash in on this opportunity. Otherwise I don't see how they can beat them.
