I was browsing the Columbus Blue Jackets website a few minutes ago and I noticed a pic of Rostislav Klesla in the old style Blue Jackets jerseys and this got me thinking. I much prefer the old ones with the previous logo to the new, modern ones. Which ones do you folks think look better?

I prefer the new logo, but hate the new "cut" as well as those ridiculous-looking 'stripes' down the arms.
Then again, as a fan of the team who once brought you "The Gorton's Fisherman", I really can't criticize any team's jerseys anymore!
(Did you know that the Isles actually had a "buyback program" after those hideous things finally became history? If you turned in a Fisherman Jersey you got a t-shirt with the new logo, I think it was... LOL)
Choosing between the old & new, I prefer the new.. In my opinion, the new is cleaner, and the prominent Ohio flag gives the Jackets a more prominent identity.
But I actually dig the alternate more than either one of these. The cannon is strong, and the overall jerseys look cleaner & sharper to me.. more in line with their Civil War name. I probably would've left off the lower horizontal striping, but.. who cares
