At the beginning of the third period (17:20), there was a delayed penalty called on Phoenix. Dwight King of L.A. scores a goal before the whistle blows. Why doesn't L.A. have a power play opportunity after the goal was scored?

Hope I worded that correctly.

If you score on a delayed penalty call the penalty is void.

I'm predicting that the Kings will shut the door on the Coyotes season tonight with a win. I just don't see them losing 2 in a row. They should be back in form tonight after a mediocre loss Sunday. Still thinking the Devils / Rangers will go 7 games.

Last night showed me again why this team is THAT good. Kopizar in a postgame interview stressed as a team why they are focusing on among other things not taking bad penalties. I think for the most part they are following that advice from Sutter. Remember that the Coyotes were the least penalized team in the league this year.

I think the Kings will sweep Phoenix and have a nice rest period. The only drawback sometimes to that is getting rusty between the end of one series and the start of another. The Kings however don't show that to be a problem this year in the playoffs. I'm going to give my Stanley Cup Finals analysis once the Series opponents are set. Still thinking Rangers and Devils is probably going 7 games.
In a follow up to my own post, the Kings did not bring the same game Sunday as they did in previous games. They were a step off and the Coyotes played a solid game and took advantage. Look for penalties or lack thereof to be a deciding factor in tonights game.

Oh definitely. Whoever wins will give the Kings a fight they haven't seen yet.

I agree, that kid is something and a pleasure to watch. They have 7 days down time before finals, may affect play.

lol, you and I both... due to average of ~5 hours sleep past few nights due to work fun, called it quits with ~6-7 minutes left in OT... just couldn't stay awake any more. Guess its a good thing,,, as if had seen that the Kings had won, would have been thrashing about more
