This is what happens when you wussify the league and cut out the role of enforcers for the sake of family friendly TV entertainment and bigger ratings. Can you imagine if Sidney Crosby and Malkin had to answer to someone like Tony Twist every time they decided to take a hack and slash at other players on the ice? I GUARANTEE they'd think twice before doing it with Twist out on the ice. The WWF show we are getting this year is a result of the NHL's completely idiotic moves to cut out the role of the enforcer. Enforcers evolved with the progression of the game, their roles didn't simply come out of nowhere, teams realized that they had to protect their own players from cheap antics so they brought in enforcers to keep the game from getting out of hand.
