In convincing fashion! Good for Quick and the Kings.

I find it funny that during the years of Robitaille and Gretzky that they were never able to win one. Was happy to see them win one now. I'm not an LA fan but if my team can't win it, i'd like to see new blood holding the cup. anyway I was tired of the Devils and Brodeur.

Except New Jersey took them to 6 games.

Are you a Rangers or Islanders fan?

Being a hockey fan in the NYC area must be fun. Had New Jersey won it this year, you would've had three teams with 4 championships.

But Jersey had to win four gamess in a row to win, the Kings were always in command of the series and all of the series. I'm not a big Kings fan but for an 8th seed they were cleaarly the best team in the playoffs.

What's funny about that? They don't just hand the cup to a team because #99 was on the team.

Where did the name Kings come from? From what I recall, I can't think of anything in LA that is associated with the teams name.
