I'm excited for a new season for the first time in 6 years and we're in another damn lockout.

Millionaires vs Billionaires. *%%* you both.

Well....at least there is football and the occasional college hockey game on TV. I might have to make a trip up to Canada to watch the OHL (Windsor only 4 to 4 1/2 hours from my house).

I am not surprised by the lockout rumors...

The only thing that will make a lockout worthwhile is if it led to the demise of the Coyotes, and the subsequent rebirth of the Nordiques! If the lockout doesn't lead to that, screw it and hope the get the season started on time!

Lame.

A lockout would be horrible for the NHL and could lead to the demise of more than the Coyotes. You're also assuming the Yotes would relocate to Quebec City.

heard Lou Nanne saying that some of the teams that are bleeding money would actually be better off missing games and not losing as much money. He thought that they will likely lose a month to month and-a-half of the season and the players will need to get to the 50% portion of revenues but the hang up is what they count towards determining that revenue stream. Other major hang-up is the revenue sharing between the haves and the have-not teams.

season likely wouldn't be lost completely until they hit mid-January.
