ESPN has the rights to college hockey. I guess a PC outfit like ESPN has some explaining to do in not showing the lady Gophers and women's hockey in general.

And physical. And nasty.
Things could really change between now and the end of the season as far as who is seeded where, Hawks have a game in hand to the Wild, Preds and Blues, with two meetings between the Blues and Hawks, Jets and Blues meet again once, Wild and Blues once, Wild and Preds once, Wild and Hawks once. It will be interesting, and this is what the NHL wanted with "parity", more close races down to the wire. Good times.
I think the Blues would beat us up - they are one of the teams we really don't want to see in the first round.

can't take anything for granted regarding playoffs participation so at this point I'd be thrilled with any match-up and for the wild to take the next strp to relevancy, they need to match up and beat the "established" clubs like St Louis...can't be considered part of that group by just beating the Avalanche every year.

Again, I am all for someone else facing the Dirty River Blues in the first round, because they're prone to high rates of physical bordering on dirty play, much like the Kings or Bruins (well, the Bruins of a few years ago) and they can really wear down a puck possesion team with all the board crashing.
Edited to add- performance in the regular season bears little resemblance to post season play.
As a Blues fan, I think the Wild need to be feared as much as any team in the Western Conference. They have shown they can beat us as of recent but that alone is not why I feel they are dangerous. The Wild are truly a good hockey team and one I feel can go deep into the playoffs this year. I'm looking forward to yet another incredible NHL playoff season this year. Arguably, the best 2 months in all of professional sports.
Watched them on MSNBC...nice win vs Blues! Got a little lax near the end though.
