Good to see the Wild relevant -- and can I dare employ the adjective "exciting"?

Have the first two games been exciting, or just anticipated and interesting. Haven't been able to watch on CenterIce yet.

1st shutout of Dallas since their 1st ever home game, back in their innaugural (2000-2001) season when they won 6 - 0.

Minnesota Wild vs. Dallas Stars - Recap - March 25, 2013 - ESPN

WILD Fever...is it catching?

Just past the halfway point and the Wild lead the NW division. Are the locals getting fired up?

In general there are a lot of hockey fans in Minnesota and most of us are pretty excited. Lately I've noticed that some of my friends who aren't hockey fans are starting to pay attention to the Wild. The Vikings and Twins have always been at the top of the sports hierarchy in Minnesota but if the Wild can become a contender for a number of seasons in a row I think they could join them there. Hockey has always been the top grassroots sport in MN but that hasn't always transferred over to support for the NHL, a cup could change that.

I'm not in Minny but all I can say is I'm happy the Wild have made the playoffs (even if it was just for five games). Hope they do better next year!
