The Atlantic DIVISION has been one of the toughest for years.

That's just the division level.

East didn't play West this season, but the last time they did the Pens' record vs West was 13-2-3. Detroit's vs East was 10-7-1. The top 10 teams this season ate split 5-5 East-West.

You still mad about losing the Cup to the Pens?

Hold on to past glory.....it'll be awhile before you can plan any parades - especially so when you've gotta play the East.

I don't think they will get past the first round, let alone the cup because they play way too sloppy, Fleury can't stop a beach ball, and Voukun has not been in a Playoff game since 07.

Vokoun will turn this series around for the Pens. After all, he just has to be average for this Pens team to win. Says something about Fleury's play so far.

Yeah, no. First they have to pick it up defensively. Then offensively, and even then, they are in a huge slump.

Offensively?

The Pens have scored 17 goals so far. Islanders 14.

I believe those 17 goals are more than any other team in the playoffs. So offense certainly isn't a problem.

Soft goals by Fleury have been a problem. If you subtract ones he normally would have stopped, at the time they were allowed, they win those games.

As I predicted. Game 6 Pens will close it out.
I am a Ranger fan and was hoping for a NYR/PITT 2ND round.
OTT will be tougher match. Maybe(big maybe) 3rd round

The defense hasn't been without blame for the Penguins, but the real problem was goaltending. Honestly, I think Marc-Andre Fleury just isn't a good playoff goalie. He's participated in seven post-seasons, and he's had a save percentage below .900 in five of them. That's unacceptable. Tomas Vokoun has a higher post-season save percentage than Fleury does. I say the Penguins go with him for the remainder of this post-season.

Vokoun was supposed to keep Fleury fresh come playoff time. But while doing that in the regular season, Fleury never played more than three consecutive games. It showed in game four.
