The Bruins looked old and slow and tired the last two nights.

Definitely didn't resemble the Big, Bad Bruins. Which, as a Habs fan, is fine by me.

Move to Canuckland. We get more games than you can shake a stick at. Usually one or two a night on national TV, and sometimes five or six.

That would be amazing, but alas, I've got roots down the street in the Seattle area. Not the best place for a hockey fan.

Sagging Canadian dollar could force Blackhawks to make big changes - Chicago Tribune

Interesting thoughts on how the decline of the Canadian dollar affects the salary cap.

Very simple, they weren't interested at that time. Now they are, you should be happy. I'm sure the Blackhawks are.
I use to get dragged to all their games, bored, freezing, scared to death a fight would break out in the stands. First game was in the 70's, hated every minute, now I love watching them.

Bwah, the true Madhouse on Madison. God, it was loud there, and the balcony seats, you could feel the building shake and sway. I loved it. Granted, you wont sit behind a pole at the UC, and sight lines are better, but there was something about the Stadium.

During the 80s, some of those teams were very good, and there was not a more dazzling player than Savard.

Darn it, Crawford is hurt. Raanta better be up for the task, or I will be calling for Darling.

Those were the days! The UC is stale in comparison. Plus, now its filled with little teenage girls mainly there because they think Sharp is a "hottie". Last game I went to some bimbo was on her phone most of the time, and was literally painting her nails.

There are a lot of folks at any given Chicago sports team game who are there for reasons other than the game. Any big city, actually, there are a lot of corporate seats, not just suites or boxes, and those tickets often go to clients who often have little interest in the game.

I sat behind some guys who talked business very loudly all night long while getting quite tipsy. The dude whose date dumped beer on Pardy last year and stole his helmet is a fairly big name car dealer. There are tons of folks there just to be there.

The Blackhawks are going to have to play better than they did against the Devils, and Darling needs to look sharper if he is to get more starts. Yeah, they won, because that is what good teams do even when they don't play well, but if they play like that against the Bruins, they won't get to OT/SO.

There's morons like that in every big city with a successful franchise. Just look at the Yankees and Yankee Stadium. I'd venture to say about 25 to 40% of the people there are big wigs on the corporate dime, who couldn't care less about the game. You can usually spot these bozo's sitting in the first row behind home plate waving whenever a pitch is thrown.
