In no particular order (other than the order they came to mind):
Nick Boynton
Wade Belak
Paul Mara
Colton Orr
Henrik Lundqvist
Alexander Ovechkin
Chris Chelios (gotta love the old man )
Daniel Briere
Brad Boyes
Georges Laraque
Raitis Ivanans
Mike Komisarek
Jaromir Jagr
Anybody who has ever knocked Chris Simon on his ass
Ooh, add Gary Roberts to that list too. He may be getting on a bit (and by that I mean a lot ) but he can still keep up with the younger guys and he plays a very exciting style of hockey.
Hmmm...favorite all time would probably be Reijo Ruotsalainen or Jari Kurri....
current would be Jere Lehtinen...
Reijo Ruotsalainen - I loved him when I was a kid. He was the only Ranger I didn't hate growing up as an Islander fan. I think part of his appeal was how fast he looked, plus he had a cool name. Kinda why I liked Bengt Gustafsson!

I think his name had something to do with it...plus, when we finally got cable TV in 82, WOR was on the channel line up, so I watched lots of Rangers hockey, so he was on my TV quite often!!!
I'd have to say that without a doubt, my favorite(s) would be Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya. Teemu Selanne at the age of 38 has shown that he can be an effective offensive force on the ice and he is such a tremendous person. He is so well liked by the fans. I will tell you, it will be SOO hard to see him retire I also have a tendency to like Finnish hockey players. I think he should play into his 40s as I think he can do it for sure. I could probably go on and on about Selanne.
Paul Kariya is another one of those great finesse and gentlemanly players. He was drafted by the Ducks and as a teenager at the time, I remember hearing it on the local news. I have not forgotten that to this day. I pray that he wins a Stanley Cup before his career is done as he deserves it for the adversity he has gone through in his life. The league needs more players like Kariya and not these rough, physical guys like Chris Simon or Joe Thornton, yes Joe Thornton of the Sharks IS a physical player but that's a different topic for a different day.
