Later in the season, NHL app lets me stream (out of market) games. But there's no choice, they select the free games.
I hope someone has a better suggestion; I could use some more free NHL viewing.

I’ve read online that people use Reddit but have no idea how to do this

I use Reddit...
Really it's as easy as typing in "NHL Live stream Reddit" in Google search and clicking on the link. All games are streamed there. Just a heads up though, lots of the game links come with NSFW ads.

So is the Reddit suggestion working?

So, many of the regular ads are replaced with NSFW ads? Are parts of the game cut off by long or extra commercials?

The ads are pop ups. The games aren’t cut off by anything. You can watch it on tv. It works. I do it pretty much everyday.

You're not alone, but I'm nervous about it being stopped if too many do it. That's why I don't usually answer these posts.

Same problem with me. I want to watch Blackhawks without cable, but all the streaming services are too much money per month. Why spend $40 a month...many games were free until last year when they began using a cable company and not the local TV station. I bought a cable cord just to watch games.

Very annoyed.

The Reddit site is complicated to me.
