Well fellow NHL fans of City-Data.com, another off-season has come and gone, and now its time to lace em back up again and go hit the Ice as all 3o teams come back into action.
Here's how this thread will work, talk about anything that happens from now until the All-Star break. Trades, games, goals, players, controverseys, etc. When the All-Star break rolls around, we'll shut this thread down and create a new one dedicated to the last half 0f the season, and then of course we'll have another playoff thread like we did last year

Sooooo, have at it

Go Canes go

Let's go Devils!
With seconds to the Rangers.

Yes, I agree that the Flyers suck.

The Wing's first 3 lines are all better than many teams' top line.

The Flyers even lost against their minor league team!

I am very glad to see the resurgence in Chicago, the Hawks are now once again a hot item *as they always should be in the Windy City* I am very excited for this upcoming season. I am going to make some predictions

West

1. Detroit Red Wings

2. San Jose Sharks

3. Edmonton Oilers

4. Dallas Stars

5. Anaheim Ducks

6. Chicago Blackhawks

7. Calgary Flames

8. Phoenix Coyotes

9. Colorado Avalanche

10. Minnesota Wild

11. Vancouver Canucks

12. Columbus Blue Jackets

13. Nashville Predators

14. St. Louis Blues

15. Los Angeles Kings

East

1. Montreal Canadiens

2. Philadelphia Flyers

3. Carolina Hurricanes

4. Pittsburgh Penguins

5. Washington Capitals

6. New York Rangers

7. Ottawa Senators

8. Boston Bruins

9. Tampa Bay Lightning

10. New Jersey Devils

11. Buffalo Sabres

12. Florida Panthers

13. New York Islanders

14. Atlanta Thrashers

15. Toronto Maple Leafs

I predict the Detroit Red Wings will win the Stanley Cup, defeating the Montreal Canadiens. I know, standard picks, but they are the most logical.
