Still can't believe that Matt Cooke didn't get suspended for his blindside head shot on Marc Savard. Absolutely pathetic. If that's not intent to injure then nothing is. He's total joke and a pathetic excuse for a human.
at least the league says they will review these things and maybe institute a rule about head shots..................................
i love hitting in the game, but it's funny to me how you can elbow someone in the head or run them head first into the glass (or put them in a position where it's very likely the only thing that can happen is their head bouncing off the glass/boards) and there may or may not be a minor penalty for it .... but let's focus on ticky tack holding the stick, interference and hooking calls
I do not like Campbell's reasoning either. He said that they can't change the rule now because players need a chance "to be educated" about what is allowed and what is not. But when Sean Avery waived his stick in front of Broduer, a rule was put in place THE NEXT DAY. And Avery gets suspended for his childish "sloppy seconds" comments. They really have their priorities in place.
