Word is that they are working about bringing another team there through expansion.
Who are you getting your "word" from? All I've been hearing about are all the NHL teams that are in dire financial straights and perhaps looking to move or fold. I do think there should be an NHL team in Quebec City, I also think it would be better for a team in a poor market to move from said market to Quebec.

The islanders info has been all over nhl.com and espn. The return to quebec I saw about 2-3 weeks ago on espn and quebec was mentioned as the frontrunner for an expansion team and 3 or 4 other areas.They didn't say that only one team would eventually be added,that wasn't discussed.
Yeah, Bettman was actually in Quebec about a month ago discussing a possible return to QC. The metro population's grown by about 300,000 more since their move to Denver.

I heard another area of Canada too,can't remember the name.Not Winnipeg.
I hope they stay on the Island, anywhere, it would be a shame to see them go and so many childhood memories with them!
100% agree. A few years back there was talk of them moving towards Cental Islip possibly near where the Ducks play.
