Your right......I'm wrong......I give up.....your just too intelligent for me.

Good game last night. Flyers deserved to win as the Hawks once again got lax in their defense.

Should be a good game 4 tomorrow night.

Well......when Laviolette called me after the game to give me an update of whats going on heres what he told me......basically the Hawks do better against a team that likes to carry the puck in rather than dump it in. The Preds had some limited success with that but didn't have the firepower to go with it or the physical forwards and the aggressive forecheck type of game the Flyers do. Dumping the puck in deep makes the defense work pretty hard and you start seeing the affects of this in the 3rd period wearing down the defense just like you did last night and in overtime. It wasn't that the Hawks got "lax" its that their defense was tired and when your tired you tend to make mental mistakes. Expect to see more of this throw the puck in deep and grind them down type of game in game 4.

Ummmmm....I would say that on the whole, Chicago has been better at keeping the puck inside the offensive zone longer than the Flyers have. Time of possession favors the Hawks.

And in OT, Chicago seemed to be the more dominate team and again possessed the puck more. They actually lost because of the home ice advantage favoring the Flyers in that they (Hawks) had the longer ice to make a shift change.

I noticed in Wednesday's game the Flyers collapsed in their zone several times and allowed the Blackhawks too many good shots from the point. A couple of times it appeared that the Blackhawks were on a power play when they weren't. I did like the Flyers going to the net and jumping on rebounds. Carter needs to be alittle more aggressive and not allow the Chicago defense to push him around. I'm also not a fan of the Flyers cute little behind-the-back drop passes that, most of the time, went to the Blackhawks.

Versteeg had a bad no look attempt at a no look pass back to the point and turned it over. Infuriating.
