If I wont allow you to build in an area and on the current location, also I wont allow you to buy and revamp the building, then what do you do? You explore moving the team, and that's what Wang has done. Nassau county has made it very tough for him. No one is 100% on his side but we realize that the county has really thrown a wrench in negotiations. I mostly blame them over him but he's not guilt free. It's a little more detailed than if he was unwilling to pay for a new building. The county is delusional and think they own the team that's why they are playing hardball.

This is true. The Lighthouse Project has a tremendous upside including creation of tons of new jobs, new housing, a state of the art facility for the Islanders with more luxury boxes. This also will create a tons of new tax dollars for the county. They would be idiots to turn it down and so far they have. It's this one female government official who's holding it up at this point. Hopefully soon she'll come to her senses.
