Default Dinning Table with my Dark Brown Sofa - Need Opinion

I had posted earlier on trying to get furniture that goes with my living room/kitchen.

I am thinking of purchasing the dinning attached. The table is dark brown wood so might be too dark with the brown sofa but if I can get painting and table decoration in the light color it might stand out.

I need opinion.

Thanks

Are the chairs available in a different fabric? That would be a great way to introduce color and pattern.

no that is the only color available in chair, i can always get fabric and staple new fabric to the chair but not sure what would be a good color fabric to use.

Like it, especially if you can work in some contrast......

I'd take my inspiration from things I already have and love. Do you have place settings you could work off of or a rug or favorite piece of artwork?

It will be fine as long as you use a accent color. You can get colorful placemats and a nice centerpiece. When you choose the accent color make sure you put some of it in the living room also.

here is the placemats i have currently which i think will look really nice and will add some of that green that is in the placemats in the living room like pillows or in the rug. to blend out the brown.

You could pick a vibrant, but muted bright like a reddish orange or dark turquoise to add some color.
