I received an estimate of $2,900 to install 3.5" wood shutters on 5 windows (living room and bedrooms) as well as roll-up shades in my kitchen. Does this sound like a decent estimate? Below are some measurements...
living room
1 window 22" x 57"
2nd indow 44" x 57"
3rd window 71" x 57
bedroom 1 window 45" x 62"
bedroom 2 window 67" x 57"
kitchen
1 window above sink 39" x 57"
sliding glass door 60" x 77"
That sounds good to me but prices can vary depending on where you are. I had 3.5" wood shutters installed on six windows (and no doors) two years ago and the cost was much more than your bid.
