Love both of the tables posted by lifelongMOgal! Beautiful!

Unfortunately, the Ethan Allen is over $2,500.00 and the other one is probably just as expensive.

Their good examples of what to look for with similar designs/styles at a better price.

Here's one that goes for between $1,500 and $1,700:

American Drew 908-701 Jessica McClintock Couture 60in Round Table

I love the shape of the RH table in the first post, but not the finish.

I think, based on the examples posted, this room actually has a somewhat formal and classic feel (blue walls w/ white trim, classic chandelier, etc).

I'd stick with the simple pedestal style, but in a darker finish. Something like this:

"Alexandra" Dining Table & "Carolina" Seating - Horchow

But with your lovely chairs.

Unfortunately this table is currently unavailable.

The other table I like for this room would be this:

"Bento" Dining Table & "Peacock" Chairs - Horchow

But it's 72".

A 72" table will fit 6 chairs better than a 60" table.

Dining table adds beauty and style to any home. It can be of various types. I like the second table very much. It has versatile design and can be used with modern decors.
