I just noticed you added this to your previous post.

I would have picked entirely different things if I had noticed those last two comments.

Are you still happy with the direction we went? We can adjust it to breezy curtains and mixing patterns more.

I think you're loving the rug and silk curtains regardless. But thought I should double check.

I think I'm ok for the moment. I have to find a different rug but I'm looking for something similar online. I just can't use wool. I need it to be easy to clean.

Once I get the rug, I'll post a picture and maybe you could advise me from there?

Definitely! We can also mix fabrics by picking different fabric for the arm chairs and side chairs.

Can't wait to see the rug you find that you ABSOLUTELY LOVE! Pick out one that just makes your heart spin.

Oh, and take those drapes and sheers off the windows. Post a picture so I can see the new window and the trim around it.

Will do.. tomorrow. It's too dark outside now. The trim is white. Actually, I think it's still primer white..but it will be white eventually. We're fixing up the whole house.

All my woodwork is white.

Whatever window coverings I put on my dining room window I have to use the same on my living room window too because the windows are all on the same wall.

Hopes,

Could this one work? I saw it in HD last night and it's so pretty. But, it's a light gray blue. The flowers are that sand color that I like.

Victoria Light Blue 7 ft. 10 in. x 10 ft. 2 in. Area Rug-1-V839-301 at The Home Depot

pathetic. I spent Saturday night.. in Home Depot.. with my husband..

where did the romance go?

That's not romance!? Oh honey, going to HD with my husband...ALONE, is considered a romantic retreat around here. LOL BTW....painting out the chairs and the bottom of the table is a great idea. The top is easy enough to finish with the stain and poly and if you're going for that "country style", that look is fabulous!
