I can't wait to hopefully move into my 1st apt this summer & I've already made a list of furniture stores to visit & items to get. I love color & modern style w/ some beachy/tropical style mixed in. The store CB2 is VERY much my style, but I wish there were 10 more stores just like it! I like IKEA too.
I think I want to get a red sofa, but if I can find a turquoise blue one, that would be great too!
Where else in southern California are there some good stores that have the style I like? Does anyone know where to get good-priced acrylic
pieces aka ghost furniture?
I already know about:
CB2
Z Gallerie
West Elm
CB2
Plummers
Pier 1
HomeGoods
Thanks for the suggestion. It says there's only 1 CA location. I can't see the photos on the link you posted, but I'm looking on yelp.com where people write reviews about things & there's pics there.
I might find a piece or two there I may like, but overall, it's not my style. It looks like 2nd hand, old-fashioned, eclectic style & it doesn't look too colorful at all. Maybe, they have new things in stock all the time.
I want much more sleek & urban, almost like you're in a trendy, cool art gallery. This site is MY style, but without the high pricetag: http://www.yliving.com/

Commenting because I have a red nappa sofa from Nicoletti in my formal.
I love DWR personally... got some stuff from them but...
Like others said, don't forget Etsy.
P.S. LigneRoset is cool too. In NY... there is places like MOSS... and or check out KarimRashid's store when there.
Thanks for the store names. LigneRoset looks really pricey even though there's no prices. Clue 1 - Having to send for info just to find out the price of a sofa I'm in southern CA & probably won't be going as far as NY to get furniture, but the sites are always good to look at for ideas.
