Got home late from a great party and found out that the toilet in the upstairs master bath had a small leak tonight.
The tile floor had tiny amount of water at the time when we got home. Small amount of water leaked through the ceiling light down to the kitchen and quite some water was found under the carpet in the closet.
Upon on cleaning, the kitchen ceiling show a small patch of water mark around the ceiling light.
Extracted most of the water out of the carpet using two vac. and currently running two fans to dry out the rest.
Are there anything esle I need to do right now to control the damage? Do I need to call professionals tomorrow to check the damage? if so, who should I call? a plumber, electrician and/or carpet cleaning specialist?
Anyone you would recommend in the Raleigh/Cary area?
Thanks,

You'll need to cut that drywall out of the ceiling and get air circulation up there; otherwise, mold could grow in the space between the kitchen ceiling and the bathroom floor.

Ditto HOPES advice. failure to do that and the mold will become a severe problem especially in your neck of the woods. I used to live nearby and the humidity in the summer will do a number of that drywall and it will grow beyond the initial area also the carpet will also harbor mold spores so be sure to treat that area as well.
