Need floor and paint color tip (hardwood floor, panel, light, dining room)

I finally decided to keep the wood panel of the house , and wanted to replace the carpet to hardwood floor. It was said that the floor color should be darker than the wall and the celing is the lightest. I am wondering which color floor will look good with this wood panel while not making the room even darker.

And also I want to change the formal dining room to a study room which is by the foyer, which color would you recommend?
