Those are great but my problem is the windows over the sink have no place to attach the hardware for the blinds or shades. I'm thinking about just going with the window film I saw at Lowe's that reduces heat & glare if I can't afford the custom blinds.

Blinds don't have to be inside mounted, you could always mount them above the window leaving a little overlap at the sides. I had some cellular blinds from Lowes that worked nicely and weren't too expensive.
Either way unless you are living in a rental, expecting to move in the near future or like to change out patterns frequently the cost of blinds is a one off investment so if you pay a little more now to get what you want it will save you from having to buy over again when you realize the cheap solution didn't work as well as you would like.

Not really a home design project but I am going through pictures that I inherited from my Dad and S'mom. It is so cool to see pictures of me and my siblings when we were little. Also to see my dad and mom when they were young.
We did order a guest bed with trundle and bookshelves so I will be putting those albums on the shelves. I figure on getting some of those basket/boxes to put into the cubbyholes and put the pictures in that don't fit the albums.
Sorting pictures to give to my daughter and son of when they were little. Talk about walks down memory lane!!!
I’m just pausing to see where to point myself next. January is for recovering from the holidays, plus I had surgery and we’re expecting a new grandchild, any day.
I suspect my first projects will be the master bedroom redoq and reorganizing closets.
I'm getting a hankering for a new dining room table and chairs. I hate to get rid of the one we have because it has a really cool story and it's about 100 years old but it's small. Even though it extends, it's still short so it feels sort of cramped, and we do use our dining room.
I bought this French parquet top table at a flea market in Belgium for $75. It's beautiful oak. But it's too big for a kitchen area and too small for the dining room in my opinion.
I'm not working on anything. I think my house is finally the way I want it. I am just relaxing and enjoying it.
For now....
I'm sorry - I don't understand what you're saying...
