I am 20 years old lady and recently have gotten my first apartment. I still can not find any type of comforter. I am open to all ideas. There is just a small condition I really need to have a matching shower curtain (pet peeve). So can you guys help?
I am the typical girl.

Well first we need to know,
what colors do you like?
what colors do you hate?
what furniture do you have:
do you like modern or country or which?
what are your hobbies?
are you alone in your room or have roommates? are you in a dorm room or private apt?

Just a few things to get the ball rolling.

Also check out a Super Target if you have one in your area. I'm found matching bedding and shower curtains there before, although be aware that colors and patterns change all the time. If you see what you like, get it then.

God things have changed. When I was in college we used "borrowed" milk crates for storage and old dressers that mom was only too happy to move out to help me furnish. We also didn't have a bathroom in the bedroom so the shower curtain was what ever one of us bought. I second the above advice if you need coordinating items.

Most college dorms have Extended twin beds, so that size is larger than twin. Here are some twin x-long bed sets, but they might not come with matching shower curtains

If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, perhaps you could find a printed sheet set you love? If you get anything other than a twin size, you could use the flat sheet as a decorative shower curtain. (Just hang one of those cheapie, clear vinyl curtains on the tub/shower side of it.) Depending upon if you swag it back or hang it straight, you may have to do a simple hem at the bottom.

Standard size shower curtains are usually 70 x 70 or 72 x 72. Twin flat sheets are usually 66 x 96, full flat sheets are usually 81 x 96, queen is usually 91 x 102, and king is usually 108 x 102. I say "usually" because some manufacturers either shave a couple of inches off or add a couple of inches on.

Just go to Target or somewhere like that. They have tons of matchy matchy stuff, especially at this time of the year with college students buying for the new semester.
