First of all I thought windowless bedrooms are illegal (the plan if from a brand new building), but that said what have some of you done with windowless rooms to prevent them from the prison cell effect?
Daylight bulbs? (but what about night time?)
Painting the walls with soothing colors?
Strategic use of mirrors?
How about cutting some clerestory openings in the wall the bedroom shares with the living room? You would get the light from outside into the bedroom that way.

That wall is already open... it says 3/4 wall on the floor plan.
Personally, I would make the den my bedroom. And I would make the bedroom a media room/office.
I do not like the kitchen right outside the bedroom like that....

I would do this as well. It's only slightly smaller and you'd have a private bedroom with walls that go all the way up, plus a window, and there is a full closet. You can use the walk in closet in the den for out of season clothes plus additional storage.
You lose the bathroom as an en suite, but when it's just you and just one bath so guests would be using it either way, I don't think that is that crucial.
Aside from the oddity of the labelled bedroom not having a window, it looks like a great place!
That is either false advertising/marketing, or a misprint.
There is no-way that is a bedroom by code. Now if that 3/4 wall was only 44"h, then there could be some wiggle room/manipulation of the code. Then den IS the bedroom per code.
