This is the first house I've lived in with a wall oven. If I were a few inches taller, I'd appreciate it more since it can be a bit awkward for me to lift hot items out over the dropped down oven door. I suppose I should get oven mitts that go up to the elbow, now that I'm thinking about it. Then the door in the way wouldn't matter so much. Other than that, I really like the split cooktop/ oven. We seem to have more space in the kitchen since there is the whole area under the cook top for large pots and pans.

I'd never put a microwave over a cook top. But, that's just me, YMMV.

I saw an oven like this at a parade of homes showcase, and thought it was AWESOME! IDK how much one of those runs, but it sure is neat.
