Have slept on aerobeds most of the last 15 years. Including for a time the select comfort variant, which I found less comfortable than the better brand you get at WalMart.

I use a memory foam topper, and stack one on top of another to gain height and have a "foundation". Inflate the bottom (foundation) a bit harder than the upper that you lie on. Extremely comfortable (IMHO), and ends up pretty much the same height as a "standard" bed so getting in and out isn't like getting off the floor.

Yep, they are slippery, so I use a bit of Velcro to keep the top and bottom together.

I seriously doubt I'll pay the big bucks for a standard bed.......ever.

yep I used one for awhile and it sprung a leak and omg I woke up on the floor threw it out and went and got a bed on my credit card and have been quite happy with a real bed . Aerobeds are not meant to be used everyday .
