I am going to mention something that you might not have considered. How will you clean these things? How will you change the bulbs? I am not implying that you cannot do these things, but I am asking how badly do you want to get up on a ladder and clean and service the chandelier? They look like high maintenance items to me.

Other than that, I'd choose the one I liked the best.

Agree Silibran - something easy to clean... I personally don't like any "crystals", etc. - depends on how formal a look they want I guess? (and if they have a cleaning service, LOL)

Dyson vacs does it all..Plus I married a clean freak who cleans every day...Problem solved

And we are going with the crystal look..We actually bought a chandelier to hang in our living room which is 9ft with a 10ft tray ... and we bought a crystal ceiling light for hall ways...here's the picture of them

Funny story along this line. We were house hunting a few years ago and there was a vaulted ceiling and chandelier in the foyer. I said aloud, how would you get up there to clean it.? The salesman's response was "if you are worried about cleaning it, this is not the house for you." Of course, I laughed but suffice to say I didn't buy that house.

As an aside, there are chandelier maintenance companies that will come in a wash and clean them for you at a nice price too.

The style can be whatever your heart desires-

What's more important is the size; and by your room dimensions the chandelier should be approx. 15" in diameter/hgt. With a 9' ceiling you don't have much room to play with- bottom of chandelier should be no less than 7' AFF.

After a while, the Dyson vac isn't going to cut it. The glass will get a film on it over time, and it'll need to be washed. Take heed.

Trust me - Dyson will not get it done. If you can hang an umbrella upside down on it and use crystal cleaner it will do for a while but sooner or later it will need a real cleaning.

Depends on what style you are going for - I would consider 1 more modern and 2 more formal.
