OK. Dang. STILL not quite, quite done. In the pics you will see the new tower, and the cabinetry and sink areas, but please keep in mind that the mirrors are going to be framed and there are going to be doors on the lower cabinet of the tower.
But wow, check out the antiqued glass and the glass shelves in the tower, with the new light shining on the doodads. WOOHOO!!!!!
OMG !!!! yes, that is freaking awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
love the whole color themes!!!!!!!!!!
that is definetely a wow factor, I guess because when i blew the pic up, that was my first response.
1. Shower door - I think it's coming in, we'll see. It's supposed to.
2. Mirror frames
3. Small doors for tower cabinet
4. Replace tub stopper with a simple "up or down" stopper - the one that came with the hardware is one of those "reverse suction" types and I HATE IT. First of all, when you're first filling the tub, it leaks and is a slow drain. THEN when you get ready to empty the tub, it is STILL a slow drain and tries to close. I called the contractor and said, "This will not work," and they are going to replace it with an old school (but new of course) style drain. AUGH. It's the little things that can drive us crazy. I spent $4000 on a bathtub - it needs to work easily without any finagling!
5. Touch up paint and caulk in a few very small areas that I noticed over the past few days.
When the tower cabinet doors and mirror frames are in, I will post pictures. Should be beautiful!
Thank you! I can't wait to get every single thing completed in here!!!!! SO CLOSE AND YET SO FAR....
