This has been my go to place for most of my curtains for my whole adult life. As a MA girl, I went to Stockbridge to the original store, and The Red Lion Inn. I could always count on CC to have the rod or curtain I needed.

I’m bereft. I’m also angry that I didn’t buy more than 4 patio curtains last year.

What? I planned on buying some patio privacy shades from them after our pool was done being built. I grew up in MA as well and everybody got their curtains at Country Curtains.

I hate change. I guess when the mom and dad died, the kids voted to close it. They still have the Inn.

Aw, I bought a lot from Country Curtains about 25 years ago. I currently have a pair of their white balloon valances on the floor in my room waiting to go to the thrift store. They were in my daughter'a room during her childhood years and I always loved them. It's silly that this is making me want to keep them.

They always put out a quality product. Too bad, I guess overseas competition killed them in the end.

I call false.
“All Hunter Douglas products are designed and custom-assembled at state-of-the-art product development facilities and manufacturing and fabrication plants around the United States.”

There are many others in the USA.

HD doesn't make curtains.

We're bemoaning the loss of our favorite curtain retailer.

Yes, I'm sorry they are closing too. Odd they couldn't find a buyer.

Yes, there are many that are US based but I am referring to the closure of Country Curtains and competition from overseas in terms of window curtains and fixtures.
