Has anyone watched this show? I am really enjoying it. A very tall and handsome host, who seems to truly know one end of a hammer from the other, restores homes in CA.
As Fixer Upper comes to an end, I’m always looking for shows that are educational, have nice people, and are without faux drama.

It's a great show. They finally put something on besides rehab addict to balance the obscene number of other shows that do little more than destroy old houses.

Same here! When I fast forward by 3, I have the count down till the show starts again. Most of them are a 10 count on fast forward 3. That works for both the DIY and HGTV shows.
Count me in. I really enjoy this show and he does know his stuff. The only thing that kind of upsets me, is that I have seen shows that give a budget for restorations that end up exceeding the budget. While I understand this is a blind item and the "unforeseen" are all part of the home owners calculation contractually, I think it offers those who contemplate such a task some false hope.
I recognize that these shows are meant to be entertainment, as well as offer an idea oriented program. However, I have to wonder if the legions of fans of any of these home improvement shows understand that this is a TV show and meant to be entertainment.

Eeek! I thought I had his name right when I typed it. Autocorrect malfunction and lack of proofreading on that post.
