Thanksgiving seems to be a holiday that gets lost in between Halloween and Christmas. It deserves some time in the spotlight.

I wonder, do you decorate for Thanksgiving?

Our typical decorations include orange, yellow, and red light bulbs for our outside light fixtures, and this year we put up some fall décor on our front gate.

We used to decorate some inside, the dining room table and a couple tables in the living room, plus the two mantles. But now that my parents have died, nobody wants to come and eat with us, so I doubt if we'll do anything this year. Not sure about many decorations at Christmas for the same reason

I put out fall decorations in September, leave them out through November, add and subtract Halloween decorations in October and add Thanksgiving decorations in November. All of it goes away for December when the Christmas decorations come out.

Thanksgiving decorations consist of adding pilgrims and turkeys here and there among the fall leaves and pumpkins and scarecrows.

I put out Fall things and add a few things for Halloween in October. I put those away after Halloween, leaving the fall themed things out until the day after Thanksgiving.

Same here. My mantle is all fall from the end of September until Thanksgiving eve when I strip it to prepare for the Christmas decorations. Halloween pumpkins with Jack-o-lantern faces get turned around after Halloween and then are just plain old pumpkins. The typical Halloween decorative items are removed and in their place go the pilgrims, cornucopia, turkeys etc.

no I don't decorate for any holiday . It just seems silly to me to decorate for a holiday all it is , is money going down the drain . then you have to find a place to store it for the whole year . No thank you . I guess I will have to when I move into my retirement house which will include an HOA I am told some of the HOAs insist you have a Christmas tree and decorate . I think that is ridiculous because a lot of retirees cant afford to decorate and hang things .

I generally decorate more for fall/Thanksgiving more than I do for Christmas. I have tons of stuff but... having just recently moved and not knowing where half my stuff is and still setting up house, it'll be a pass this yr. But next year..... back on top, baby! Back on top! For me... it's the most wonderful time of the year.

Honey, I decorate for every holiday.

Right now I am planning the table settings for Thanksgiving. I can hardly wait!
