Hi everyone. I'm painting my guest room a nice light pastel blue. I will be purchasing a white headboard with matching small nightstands and a tall dresser. I'm thinking of a nice either pastel colored pattern or maybe even something bold pattern for a stand out point. I've looked on Crate and Barrel and BBB for sheets but didn't really see anything I wanted. Any ideas on where else to look for sheets? Either online or store ideas are welcome. I'm not too concerned with prices because I want my guests to be comfortable. TIA

I bought white Egyptian cotton sheets. I also have them done at the laundry and ironed. They look so crisp and inviting and everyone loves em. Not that there is that many people in my bed or beds. But guests have remarked how very special it felt. Also the white lets the other colors in the room show and does not pull away from the decor. The quilt is white also. You would be surprised how the white let's the rest of the room stand out.

You might want to check out Linens & Things. I am a bed linen fanatic and that is the only place I will go for linens.

I'll second that. You don't really have to spend a fortune unless the color you're looking for is very specific and hard to come by. Great sheets can be found at Ross and Tuesday Morning at a fraction of the price.

Great responses everyone. I will go through them and see what I can find. I did consider all white but then wanted to add some bright bold pattern color or something. Thanks again.

I'd add a color OTHER than white or blue, but not too bold since you went the pastel route w/the pain.

I have white sheets, too and a white Matelasse coverlet on an iron canopy bed. I agree, the white let's all the room's colors (especially in the art) stand out. People walk into my bedroom and say, "wow!" I love it--it's peaceful after that inital wow.

Try The Company Store, Cuddledown, or Garnet Hill.
